Saturday March 9 is ‘International FlyGirls Day’ – EJU has named & claimed it! It will be a global celebration of girls via an online digital global campaign of conversations via blog, PSA, panels, radio, social media.


Kicking off in New York city, EJ Producer Syreeta Gates will moderate a conversation with teenage girls at Brooklyn’s Mott Hall Bridges Academy on Saturday March 9th at 1pm called ‘The Swagger of Mean’. Intl FlyGirls Day launches as part of the annual ‘She Is Me’ Luncheon for women and girls. You’re invited! For more info, click here The girls then begin their ‘Diary of Fly’ entries in their #DoF journals.  EJ Writer La-vainna Seaton will write the EJ weekly blog ‘Scar Story’ sharing trauma from her past & how she transitioned to triumph.  EJ Intl will feature ‘Diary of Fly’ blogs from England blogger; Gracie Francesca’s ‘The Ugly Face of Beauty’, Jamaica’s ‘NataliaOh.com’, and Washington DC’s Najia Diamond’s ‘From Combat Boots to Stilettos’.
